Goals & Objectives

• Prove that my presentation - How Bad Ideas Lead to Bad Consequences - even though apparently negative in tone, has a thoroughly positive end: to critique the two proposals from the Pontifical Academy for Life (on contraception and infertility treatment) in order to expose their errors (the bad ideas) so as to protect anyone in the audience from the bad consequences that would follow from embracing these bad ideas

• Highlight contemporary thought and medical research that identifies the errors of the bad ideas I will highlight

• Spotlight current examples of bad consequences following from these bad ideas that have already reared their ugly head in our culture
